Xeomin spreads the least under the skin – about a dime size, Botox – about a penny, and Dysport spreads the most – about a quarter. The more the toxin spreads, the more units you will need in the injected area.

On average most of our Xeomin patients notice the effects of the toxin within 2 days post treatment, Dysport within 2-3 days, and Botox within 4-5 days.

Xeomin is best for treating glabellar lines (appear between eyebrows) and it excels in decreasing the intensity of moderate to severe lines. Dysport is more diluted than Botox and Xeomin, and its most prominent benefits include a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Botox is the prime option for those deeper, muscle-related wrinkles.

Neurotoxin injections are approved for people aged 18 and older. However, it's recommended to start preventative neurotoxin in your mid-to-late 20s or early 30s. At this age, fine lines may just have started to develop, making it possible to use neurotoxin to precisely target your trouble areas.
